Motor Controls Starters & Overloads

IAS is proud to represent the state of the art motor controls from ABB and Schneider Electric.  Offerings include an extensive collection of contactors, motor overloads, manual motor starters, and softstarters.  The new AF series of across the line contactors from ABB offer wide ranging AC/DC coils, as well as built in surge protection standard.  Also available are capacitive contactors, definite purpose contactors, dynamic braking contactors, lighting contactors, and DC circuit switching contactors.   Magnetic motor starter capability is provided by addition of a complete selection of both thermal and electronic overload relays.  Short circuit protection can be achieved by utilizing one of ABB’s manual motor protectors/manual motor starters offering a means of disconnect, manual on/off control, and protection against short circuit, overload, and phase loss conditions.  Adapters are available for coupling manual motor starters with magnetic contactors for automatic capability.
